I am giving RHB Photography by Rob Barcroft  because...
I am photographer myself so when selecting someone to do our wedding I
was very particular about what I was looking for. When I saw Rob's
work on his web page we actually changed the date to suit his
availability. My wife trusted my judgment and was not disappointed.
So what makes Rob different from the rest? Here are some answers.
He works so hard. He is down on his knees, on a chair, swinging around
a tree, he does whatever it takes to capture the moment. He worked
like that all day long and stayed to the very last minute of the
reception. He also has great technical skill. The lighting was
difficult but he nailed the atmosphere. He shot a huge number of
photos and he did this without anyone really noticing he was present -
a great skill.
But here is the best part. My sister reviewed the proof photos. She
laughed, shouted, arhhed and cried. Rob captured the moments so
perfectly stirring all the emotions - this is what great photography
is all about. A+++ to Rob!!

Rob Barcroft did an amazing job photographing our wedding! He is very
professional, easy to work with and his work is OUTSTANDING! he did a
great job capturing every moment and we did not even know he was
there! The album he put together for us is also another work of art!

I am giving RHB Photography by Rob Barcroft because...
Rob was AMAZING!Rob's prices/packages were very much in line with
other photographers, but what ultimately sold us on Rob were 2
things.One, he was exceedingly calm and friendly.I could imagine
spending my wedding day with him and not being driven crazy!Two, he
said "it's your job to enjoy your wedding. It's my job to capture
it." Sold! On the day, my limo was late so I arrived 45 min late.I
was panicked, but Rob was totally steady. He knew which photos to
take beforehand, which could wait until after, and kept a calm smile
on his face the whole time! After the formal pics were taken, Rob
never once pulled us or interrupted our enjoyment of the day. He was
somehow everywhere we needed him to be without being in the way or
changing the flow of the event. The photos are BEAUTIFUL and our
friends/family have all commented both on their love of the photos
but how great Rob himself was!

Rob was truly one of our favorite people to work with throughout our
wedding planning. We immediately knew that he went above and beyond
when he offered to come to our home for our first meeting. Since
that time, he has always been very responsive, patient, and helpful
any time we have a question. He was a pleasure to spend time with on
our wedding day, and our pictures are a reflection of that. He works
so hard to capture beautiful shots. Our families and friends were
also very impressed with how friendly, unobtrusive, and hardworking
he was. The pictures are absolutely beautiful, and we had all of the
proofs in less than two weeks! The quality of Rob's work is superb,

Hiring Rob is undeniably the best decision we made with respect to our
wedding plans. He is a professional in all respects and an incredibly
nice person with whom to work. His price points are comparable with
most photographers but his work is leagues above most others we have
seen. His work comes out to be true art. We know that our wedding
pictures will be marvelous. He also shot engagement photos which we
had made into our guest book. It was a hit! Guests thought his work
was true art!

Rob was fabulous throughout the entire process. Unlike other photographers,
there were no hidden costs once we met him to go over the final details. The
day of the wedding, all of our guests were amazed at the number of pictures he
took. Our friends and families are all thrilled with the photos. Within two
months of the event, our album has already been ordered. Many of my friends
have waited over a year for albums. Rob was extremely organized and on top of
everything. We would recommend him for anyone interested in photo journalism
style photos.

I am giving RHB Photography by Rob Barcroft because...
After we had our first meeting with Rob Barcroft we knew we had found our
photographer. What really impressed us was how much time he took listening to
us to make sure that he shared our vision for the wedding.
After our wedding we got so many compliments on our photographer. My dad said
that he was working so hard the whole night, but the funny thing was he is so
unobtrusive that half the time I didn't even know he was taking pictures. At
around 11:00 I thanked him for everything and told him he could go. About 10
minutes later the DJ played a really good song and so people swarmed the dance
floor, Rob must have seen this happen and recognizing the great photo
opportunity he came back in to shoot more pictures. Our proofs have since come
back and they are beautiful!
Clearly for Rob being a photographer is more than just a job, it is his passion
and we are so happy that he could share his talent with us for one of the most
important days of our lives.

We are giving RHB Photography by Rob Barcroft because...
We decided that this was one of the most important decisions for our wedding.
When we first met with Rob, he came to us, was so nice and we could immediately
feel how passionate he is about photography. We had a major expense right after
we booked him, but he reserved our date anyway and trusted that we would send
our first payment when we could. We had to book and cancel our engagement
session on short notice twice, but he never led on that he was annoying or
inconvenienced. When we finally met up, Rob arrived early to scope out our
location. Everything outside was dead, but Rob found so many great backgrounds.
Every single picture was artistic and amazing. At the wedding, I had so many
guests compliment Rob. It was a 12-hour day, but he remained polite, patient &
did anything to get a great shot. We recently saw our pictures and I'm so
impressed...He captured EVERYTHING. I'm so glad, he really knows his job and
does it with a smile on his face.

RHB is a fantastic company! He lives very close to our venue, but far from our
home, and was willing to meet us anywhere we liked. We settled on a meeting
place halfway between us and him. He was there before us, and was prepared to
show us his work right away. He is friendly, courteous, and most importantly, non-
obtrusive on the wedding day. His prices are way too low for his outstanding
work! I loved that he had many album options to work with. He and his assistant
for the day were fantastic. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with both of
them, and even more impressed with the beautiful photographs. I would
recommend RHB to everyone and anyone getting married in the Chicagoland area!

If I had to do it all over again, I’d still choose Rob Barcroft from RHB
Photography. Upon meeting Rob, not only did I love the samples of his work, I
immediately felt that his genuine demeanor and concern about what my husband and
I wanted to capture on our special day was real. I had been in weddings before
and always felt the presence of the photographer and was concerned that at my
own wedding, I would feel a photographer even more. But even as the bride, I
never felt Rob’s presence. Upon returning from our honeymoon and seeing the
photos for the first time, we were amazed. Rob photographed so many unique
moments! His eye for the lighting and background was amazing. I was in all the
same places he was and didn’t see the magic he managed to capture on film. I
have looked at our wedding photos everyday and I have many friends who are

Wow! We are beyond thrilled with Rob's work!!! He came to us after shooting a
good friend's wedding last year and we were immediately drawn to how friendly
and accommodating he was. In the midst of crazy wedding planning, having a
vendor agree to come to meet YOU was such a treat. He truly listened to what we
had to say and what we were looking for with our photos. For the wedding day, he
went above and beyond to get all of the shots. He worked a very long day and
was everywhere getting shots -without being seen. Our pictures were online to
proof just TWO weeks after the wedding - what a treat to come home from our
honeymoon and see our photos!! And they were BEAUTIFUL. Candid, elegant,
beautiful. I've had praise pouring in from friends and family after looking at the
photos... they all say they are the best they have ever seen. We're thrilled and
excited to get started on the album process! We're not sure how we will choose..

Upon meeting Rob, we immediately loved his friendly, laid back personality. He
has significant experience in wedding photography, but we also appreciated his
earlier photo journalism career. This helped him tell a story with a photo that we
wouldn't necessarily see otherwise. Rob was happy to work with us despite the
long distance planning and gladly met us whenever we were in town. He was
incredibly professional -- all the things one would expect such as promptness, ease
of communication, solid business practices, accommodating, etc. During the event
itself, we didn't even notice Rob or his assistant were there sometimes. We
viewed this as a huge positive as we've been to other weddings where you see the
photographer everywhere you look. Finally, we loved his finished work.
Afterwards, we had almost 800 photographs to choose from and they were all

We chose our wedding photographer, Rob Barcroft, based on a few and very important qualities we saw when we first met him: his calm, flexible, and pesonable demeanor; his extroardinary talent for taking candid photographs thus capturing many of the most special moments that day; his ability to work with a variety of personalities; and his passion for photography. Now that our day has come and gone - all we have left are our photographs and we could not be any more grateful for the amazing work he did. Rob Barcroft combines superior service with award winning photography and one of a kind album designs that are unmatched by any other in the field. The pictures were the most important part of our three-day wedding event, because in the end, they were all we had for a visual of such a significant day in our lives. With that being said, my family researched photographers for months in advance before finding Rob. There are so many things that make Rob exceptional: First is convenience, he came to us for all our meetings rather than us traveling to a studio. I am giving RHB Photography by Rob Barcroft because...
From the first meeting I could tell right away that Rob was a true professional. He even told me the questions that I should be asking him and advised me to see other photographers before making my decision. But I didn't have to do that because I was completely blown away with his portfolio and his level of customer service. He and two other photographers photographed my wedding for 12 hours and were as energetic at the end as at the start. He captured every emotion, people laughing, crying, being funny--candid and photojournalism styles. The turnaround for the proofs and the album layouts were super quick. I had my album done before my friend who was married before me! His pricing is extremely competitive, in fact I seriously think he underprices himself, which I suspect he does because he enjoys covering weddings and wants to make himself available to as many brides as possible rather than only thinking about how he can make the most money. I don't live in Illinois and he was extremely flexible in working with me--for example, I couldn't fly in to do an engagement shoot which was part of the package so he gave me a credit to get more photos. Not all photographers will do that. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone---you will not be disappointed!

Rob was great to work with--very easygoing, accommodating and punctual (he even
arrived early). We have had many compliments on both his work and the way he
carried himself on the day of our wedding. He shows a true concern that the
bride and groom have the best day possible and could not have been more
unobtrusive in his work. He did a great job capturing some of the most
emotional moments beautifully. The shots that were not posed turned out the best.
His team was a huge help putting together our album and it looks great.
